We're not like other cruise ships. While others hibernate for the winter, we ramp up the pace and turn up the atmosphere on board. Since launching our winter cruises in the Gothenburg archipelago in fall 2013, they’ve become a true classic for many.

Warming Mulled Wine as You Board
The holiday spirit begins the moment you arrive. We welcome you and your group on the quay with warm mulled wine, almonds, raisins, and crisp gingerbread cookies. A perfect start to the evening if you ask us.
When you board M/S Trubaduren or M/S Medvind, our lovely staff will show you to your table. Take a moment to admire our beautiful holiday decorations—we love adorning the boats with twinkling lights and festive greenery. Cozy is an understatement.

Did we mention we’re not like other cruise ships? That goes for the food too. Forget hot dogs, pickled pork, and tired ribs—here it’s all about seafood. Our winter buffet has become a big favorite among both locals and visitors.
On our lavish seafood Christmas buffet, you’ll find our wildly popular lobster soup along with a variety of tasty seafood. Here’s a selection of what’s on the buffet:

Festive Vibes All Evening with Our Singing Servers
Expect an evening like no other. Just when you least expect it, our performing servers break out into another show number. The pace starts gently early in the evening, but with each island you pass, the energy rises. Eventually, the entire salon is filled with sequins, spotlights, singing, and dancing.
Our medleys span multiple genres—from pop and schlager to rock. The common thread is familiar hits that are easy to sing or sway along to. Of course, we’ll throw in a few Christmas songs too.
Holiday Drinks and a Sweet Treat Table
After dinner, enjoy coffee and tea along with a treat table filled with gingerbread, chocolate, caramels, fruit, and other goodies. Treat yourself—it is almost Christmas, after all!
