Some dates are more popular than others, so we recommend booking early. To see our scheduled cruises, check the online booking. If you're a large group, we may even arrange an additional trip just for you.
What does a typical evening on M/S Trubaduren look like?
The boat opens at 17:30 and departs at 18:30. As soon as you're onboard, we take your drink order. Once everyone has a drink, we kick off with an opening number, followed by dinner. During dinner, there’s light entertainment. After the meal, we clear the buffet and dive into a sparkling show. We return to Packhuskajen at 23:00 (or 23:30 for the Hisingen Runt cruise).
How do drink tickets work?
You decide how many drink tickets to hand out. We usually offer Beer/Wine, Schnapps, Cocktails, and Avec tickets. You don’t pay for the tickets themselves—think of them as vouchers. You only pay for what's actually ordered. So, no worries if some tickets go unused—they cost nothing unless redeemed.
Is the experience suitable for international guests?
Absolutely! Every year, we welcome guests from all over the world—Russia, the USA, Italy, China, Brazil, and more. Our annual group of Japanese dentists is a highlight! A cruise with Skärgårdslinjen is a perfect way to showcase beautiful Gothenburg, enjoy fresh seafood, and experience a unique show. What kind of show is it?
On M/S Trubaduren and M/S Medvind, our team of performers puts on a vibrant mix of old favorites, modern hits, jokes, rock, pop, soul, funk, and Swedish schlager—all with humor and flair. You’ll hear solo performances during dinner and full medleys later in the evening. Shows vary night to night, tailored to the audience and weather. More on our Show & Artists page.
What kind of entertainment is at the Shrimp Feast?
Our Shrimp Feast with Show features high-energy entertainment. Our performing servers bring pop classics, Swedish hits, and crowd-pleasers from ABBA, Tina Turner, and Springsteen, just to name a few.
Is there time to talk during the evening?
Absolutely! Early in the evening, the entertainment is mellow with low volume, giving you time to chat. Later on, it picks up with sing-along-worthy tunes. Performances are 5–10 minutes long with breaks in between—perfect for mixing conversation with dazzling showtime. If you're chartering the whole deck or boat, we tailor the amount of entertainment to your preferences.

What is the price excluding VAT?

Can we pre-order drinks for boarding?
Yes, absolutely! Just include this when booking your trip.
Can we pre-order dessert?
Yes, we can arrange that too! Treating your guests to dessert is a great way to add a little luxury—without serving alcohol.
What is the typical age range?
Everyone is welcome here! Our cruises attract a wonderfully mixed crowd—from Grandma Greta to bachelorette parties under the same roof.
Will we be seated together?
Yes! Depending on group size, you'll either have one large table or several tables close together. We encourage fun, mingling, and arm-linking, so don’t be surprised if you’re placed near other happy guests—it could be the start of something great!
Can we charter the entire boat?
It depends on how many guests you’re booking for.
M/S Trubaduren seats approx. 210 guests across two salons.
M/S Medvind seats approx. 140 guests across two salons.

Do you accept American Express?
Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express. However, we do accept Visa and Mastercard.
