About Skärgårdslinjen

For nearly twenty years, we at Skärgårdslinjen have delighted and surprised guests from all over the world. With our unique concept, we’ve made a name for ourselves as Gothenburg’s most entertaining restaurant boats. “Papa Björn” used to say – “you board as a guest and leave as a friend.” That pretty much sums up the spirit in which we operate and how our guests perceive us.

The Åman family started the company Skärgårdslinjen i Göteborg och Bohuslän AB in 2005 with the vessel M/S Trubaduren.

The gangway was lowered for the first time on Valentine’s Day – a well-chosen date that has come to represent the love we want everyone to feel when stepping onboard. In 2020, we welcomed guests aboard our new ship, M/S Medvind, for the first time.

Onboard our vessels, we create magical moments and wonderful memories together – the kind that make you want to return, whether as a guest or part of the crew. Our warm and personal service is at the heart of everything we do. Combined with beautiful surroundings, exquisite food and drink, and lively entertainment, we have something truly unique that fills us with pride.

The company is still family-run, now led by twins Annica and Anders. Of course, we also count all the amazing people who work with us as part of the Skärgårdslinjen family – they are what make this company everything we love so much.
