Questions & Contact

What does it cost?

You can find prices for all our cruises on the prices page.

How does payment work?

In short, you pay just like at a restaurant. When you're done eating, your server will bring you a bill covering the trip, food, and drinks. Card payment only. We are a cash-free ship. Card payments only.

Can we split the bill?

Yes, but we appreciate it if you calculate each person’s share yourselves. The less time we spend billing, the more time we have to entertain you – and that’s what we prefer!

Where are M/S Trubaduren & M/S Medvind located?

You’ll find us at Packhuskajen, next to Casino Cosmopol. The easiest way to get here is by public transport to the Stenpiren stop. If you're driving, the closest parking is also at Packhuskajen. Casino Cosmopol is located between the parking lot and our dock. Nearest street address is Packhusgatan 1.

What time does the boat leave? When should I arrive?

It depends on which cruise you’ve booked. See your booking confirmation for all the details.

What’s the difference between seafood cruise with show and shrimp feast with show?

The seafood cruise with show is on M/S Trubaduren.

The shrimp feast with show is on M/S Medvind.

Both cruises offer the same energy and entertainment. The main difference is the food setup: the seafood cruise includes our large seafood buffet, while the shrimp feast centers around fresh shrimp with plenty of tasty sides. See full menus for each cruise!

What kind of entertainment is on M/S Trubaduren?

A simple question with a long answer! M/S Trubaduren has a crew of show artists. Over the years we’ve heard old hits, the latest tunes, local Göteborg jokes, rock, pop, soul, funk, and schlager – all delivered with humor. During dinner, we start with mellow solo performances, followed by high-energy medleys. The show may vary depending on the audience and weather. Read more on the Show & Artists page.

What kind of entertainment is on M/S Medvind?

On M/S Medvind, expect upbeat entertainment with a cheeky twist – catchy pop songs, dance-friendly hits, and, of course, dramatic schlagers. There’s something for everyone!

We're celebrating something. What do we do?

Many people choose to celebrate special occasions with us – hen/stag parties, birthdays, anniversaries, new licenses, colleague farewells, and even the occasional proposal! Want to make it extra special? Pre-order a birthday drink as a surprise.

Contact us and we’ll make sure it’s celebrated properly!

Will I be seated indoors?

All reserved seats on M/S Trubaduren and M/S Medvind are indoors. In summer and good weather, the show on M/S Trubaduren begins indoors during dinner and moves outside afterward, letting you enjoy both the archipelago and the show on one of our two sun decks.

Do I have an assigned seat, or can I choose?

You always have a reserved seat. One or more tables will be ready for you when you arrive. We spend a lot of time planning the seating to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone.

Is drinks included?

Water is available on the table. Other drinks are paid for when you settle the bill for your trip and meal. Some price examples can be found in our info sheet.

Can I bring a stroller on board?

Yes, but you can’t expect to keep it next to your table. Boats have less space than restaurants, and strollers can block paths or become a safety issue. There’s always room for strollers outdoors, under cover.

Can I bring pets on board?

Unfortunately, no. As much as we love kittens, Golden Retrievers, guinea pigs, hamsters, dancing mice, goldfish, and walking sticks – we must consider our guests with allergies.

Do you accept American Express?

We do not accept American Express. But we gladly take Visa and Mastercard.

What if I need to cancel?

You’ll find booking terms and cancellation info on the booking terms page.

If someone in your group can’t make it, maybe you can bring another friend instead? If not, we might be able to sell your spot to someone else. Always reach out to us.

What if I get sick?

It’s always a shame when someone gets sick. If you still can’t come, our booking terms apply. You might bring someone else instead. If not, we may be able to resell your spot. Always contact us.

What happens if it’s windy?

We’re proud to say we’ve never canceled a cruise. Our captains are experienced and monitor the weather forecast closely. If needed, we take sheltered routes among the islands. If the wind really picks up, we might head north on the Göta River instead. In extreme cases (think Gudrun, Gorm, Per or Helga), we stay docked — but the food and entertainment continue as usual.

What’s on the buffet?

You’ll find menus for both our seafood cruises and our winter cruises here.

I don’t eat seafood — is there something else?

You can enjoy other options on the buffet like salmon, herring, potatoes, salad, cheese, and bread. If that’s not for you, we offer a meat dish, a chicken dish, and a vegan option — these must be pre-booked. You’ll find them here.

I have allergies — will there be food for me?

Absolutely! The buffet is extensive and clearly labeled with allergy info. If you’re allergic to seafood, for example, you can still enjoy salmon and herring — or pre-order an alternative dish.

How much does the alternative food cost?

It’s the same price, whether you eat the seafood buffet or an alternative dish.

Can I have both the buffet and alternative dish?

No. If you choose the buffet, you eat only the buffet. If you choose the alternative menu, you eat only that. You may, however, take salad and bread from the buffet if you’ve selected an alternative meal.

How long is the food available?

Until you’re full!

Is there a kids’ price?

Absolutely. Children aged 4–12 pay 295 SEK. Kids aged 0–3 pay 50 SEK if they’re eating.

What food is there for kids?

Kids are welcome to eat from the buffet. Even if herring isn’t their favorite, we know at least one nephew who loves shrimp. If they don’t want buffet food, they can have a child-sized portion of the alternative dishes. We also serve meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry jam. See our menu for more — and remember, children’s meals must be pre-booked.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Since 2020, all our ships are smoke-free. This includes e-cigarettes.

Is there dancing on board?

Of course! You’re welcome to dance whenever there’s a chance — usually between performances. Just remember to stay seated during the show so everyone can see and enjoy it.

Are the ships accessible?

Unfortunately, M/S Trubaduren and M/S Medvind are not fully accessible. You can travel with a wheelchair on M/S Trubaduren, but your companions may need to carry it onboard — and possibly up one flight to the sun deck. There’s a larger toilet that accommodates wheelchairs, but all restrooms are on the lower deck. We’re unable to accommodate electric wheelchairs.

Are there cabins to sleep in?

Sadly, no — but just a stone’s throw away you’ll find our friends at Hotel Comfort, who’ll make sure you get a great night’s sleep after the best evening of the year!
